"As a kid in school, I was always entertaining myself by drawing faces and spaces in the intersection between architectural sketches, street art, and early 2000s cartoons. Later on, I became more and more focused on hard edges, rough contours, weight–counterweight compositions, awkward proportions, and poses that suggest and thematize an explosive inner energy.

Through experimenting and getting to know the process of carving and lino printing, I expanded my creative skills with a technique that harmonizes with the aesthetics of my drawings and images, and since then it has become my primary creative channel. What started as a creative outlet alongside my architecture studies quickly became a focus point in its own right.

In the process of translating the subjects of my pictures into lino prints, I perceive every new piece as a challenge to sharpen my visual language, while keeping the priority of enjoying every step."
